My First Podcast: Working in a Women’s Prison with Dick Greenberg

Just to clarify, I did not work with Dick in a woman’s prison, nor was he a resident of a woman’s prison. I had the privilege of being a guest on Dick Goldberg’s podcast: Insights with Dick Goldberg. The podcast “explores psychology, sociology and life to help answer life’s big questions.” We had a wonderful talk about my position as Crisis Intervention Worker at Taycheedah Correctional Institution, a woman’s maximum prison in WI. We covered topics related to the women’s mental health, how they tried to cope in prison culture, what I could provide them in a very restrictive structure and what I think needs to change in society.
